COMPLETELY UNKNOWN CANDIDATES SWEEP TO VICTORY IN IRAQ

A newly Democratic Iraq is now celebrating an election in which an uncertain number of unknown candidates have swept to power: 48% unknown Shiites, 26+% unknown Kurds and the rest - unknown. No one among the newly priveleged voters knows who they actually voted for, who has been elected, or how many of them (whoever they are) are still alive and will remain so until and after they are masked and seated in the 275-member General Assembly of the Unknown, to carry on with the independently masked government that will stand as further proof that the insurgency has failed, and that Democracy has come at last to Iraq, as it came to Ohio so long ago.
